Jesmond Local Produce Harvest 2011, August-September 2011
In partnership with Oxfam Books, St George's Terrace, Jesmond, JMC provided a stall of locally grown produce - courtesy of local allotment holders. This produce was available for ‘purchase’ (by donation), in support of the Oxfam EAST AFRICA APPEAL. 100% of money raised went to the appeal.
12-12 Prayer 10 @ JMC, 14 July 2011
Our 12 hour Prayer Day ran from Noon to Midnight on 14 July in the JMC Sanctuary. We focused our prayers and blessings on West Jesmond and its various communities and on the work of the Church. There was live art, painting and drawing – for children and adults, crafts, refreshments, communal meal, and group worship times. Click here for more information.
Jesmond Community Festival 19 March - 3 April 2011
As in previous years, JMC were actively involved in the Community Festival. Wednesday 23 & 30 March, 10-12noon. Handicraft Workshop. There was a lot of enthusiasm to keep this going after the Festival, so a group - novice to expert - now meet regularly on Wednesdays, 10-12noon in JesSpace (above Cafe 1901)Saturday 27 March, 10-12noon. We had a great Girls Night Out on Friday 4th March @ The Holy Biscuit, Shieldfield, Newcastle upon Tyne.

JMC Summer Holiday Programme for 2010 was on the theme of 'Travelling and holidays'

Jesmond Community Festival March 13th – 27th 2010
JMC hosted a range of events this year, from electronic pop music to Jazz, blues and gospel music; dance workshops; chocoloate indulgences and messy Church. £320 was raised for Common Ground.
Rev Mike Rayson visited JMC on 18 April 2010:
