We want to produce crafts because we have a heart for social justice and compassion.
Our little cottage industry includes the following handicrafts:Knitting and crocheting projectsMaking bags, baby shoes, dolls clothes, etcEmbroidery projectsCross stitchPrayer shawlsand others ….

We meet on Wednesdays 10am-12noon.

The venue is Jes Space, on the upper floor of Jesmond Methodist Church, above Café 1901. Sometimes we meet in the Cafe itself.

Come and join in to learn new skills, to teach others, to share expertise or merely to have a go! We meet on a regular basis, but also continue to work on our projects at home.

If you have any odd balls of wool that you don't want, please let us have them. We can use them in our blankets and jumpers for Knit4Africa. Any weight is fine.

Bring your knitting needles, crochet hooks or embroidery needles and share your skills, have a chat and make things for good causes.

For the novice or expert, male or female, young and not so young – all are welcome!
