St George's Terrace, Jesmond, Newcastle, NE2 2DL
There is a growing sense among Christians in Newcastle that something spiritually significant is happening.
Jesmond Methodist Church wants to be part of what God is doing, in a way that is both relevant and helpful to our local community. As part of our regular prayer life, we speak blessings to our locality - Jesmond - in our Thursday Sanctuary sessions.
We would love you to take part! Our other pages will give you information about our team and activities, and background information.
We need your prayers, too.
JMC opened in 1901 - here is a short history of our life in Jesmond.

As ways towards realising this priority, the Methodist Church will give particular attention to the following: Underpinning everything we do with God-centred worship and prayerSupporting community development and action for justice, especially among the most deprived and poor - in Britain and worldwideDeveloping confidence in evangelism and in the capacity to speak of God and faith in ways that make sense to all involvedEncouraging fresh ways of being ChurchNurturing a culture in the Church which is people-centred and flexible
