I started attending Jesmond Methodist Church during the 1990’s and became a member in September 1995. Since then I have attended most Sundays and have held many positions within JMC over the years - now as a member of the Leadership Team and as a Circuit Steward.
I enjoy the more relaxed style of Worship and fellowship at JMC.

I serve as Lay Pastor at JMC, helping to oversee our Sunday gatherings, outreach in Jesmond, Youth, and pretty much anything else that needs doing along the way. Half of my time is spent in Shieldfield Art Works (SAW) where I lead the brilliant team running the new space there, a collaboration between JMC and SAW, Sanctuary.
On a typical Sunday, you’ll probably see me on team or chasing after my daughter, Leah. I passionate about Newcastle United, Jesus, and Disney. He also believes coffee is a spiritual gift and is always up for grabbing one and having a chat (doesn't necessarily need to be about Disney).

I’ve been working at JMC since September 2024 and have loved every second! I’m passionate about loving Jesus and loving Jesmond - and it’s my job to help think about how we love students here in JMC and in our community too.
I love talking to people so please do come for a chat (you’ll not miss me, I’m 6ft 5) - I like to talk about food, theatre and of course, Jesus!
