Rev Alison Wilkinson

Alison has been Methodist Minister for 20 Years and has been the Minister here at JMC since September 2016. She holds presbyterial oversight here at Jesmond, Sheildfield Arts Works and Trinity Wallsend.

She is a renowned speaker and leader, teaching at Durham University and speaking at events such as Easter People & ECG and in Churches in America, Gibraltar and Singapore. She is passionate about telling everyone

Adam

Adam is coming to the end of his 5th year working for JMC. He started off part-time as a Student and Young Adult worker but now also works as Lay Pastor. 50% of his time is spent offering pastoral support and outreaching too Students and Young Adults and the other 50% of his time is as Lay Pastor. In this role, he oversees our outreach, justice and evangelism and supports Alison in the leadership of the church.

Adam grew up in the North East and returned in September 2017 after studying Divinity in Aberdeen for 4 years. He married his wife Rachel in 2019. He is passionate about Jesus, Newcastle United and Disney.

Leadership Team

Adam and Alison are supported by people across the whole church. JMC has a volunteer leadership team which attempts to be a diverse grouping of our congregation who pray together and seek the vision for the Church. In addition to this, we have regular meeting task groups throughout the year such as Property and Finance, Gathered Worship, Safeguarding, Outreach, Justice and Evangelism and Discipleship
